WHO SHOULD Attend?
This program is indispensable for those wanting or needing to stay abreast of the major changes in environmental thinking in recent years. It is designed for policy makers at all levels of government and from any country, public and private sector executives, and anyone who wants a better understanding of the full range of developing concepts, tools, and strategies essential to leadership in sustainable practices and policies.
Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for participation in the Forum.
HOW TO APPLY
To be considered, applicants must submit a complete application online by August 18th.
- A statement of up to 200 words detailing what you hope to take away from your participation in the program
- A short professional biography (no résumés or CVs)
Your application will not be reviewed until both parts are received.
NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
We will inform applicants of their acceptance within two weeks of receiving their completed application. Once the forum reaches capacity, we will not accept additional participants, but will add names to a wait list.
FEES AND PAYMENTS
$3,995 includes program materials, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners. Housing is not included; however, a special hotel rate at a highly-rated local hotel will be provided for participants. To secure your space in the program, you must make a $500 deposit no later than August 21st. Your tuition balance must be paid by August 25th.
Scholarships and Discounts
We will be awarding a handful of partial scholarships to outstanding applicants of the Yale Sustainability Leadership Forum. To be considered for a scholarship, you must apply no later than August 7th. In addition, we will also select 1-2 exceptional applicants for full-tuition scholarships. Scholarship decisions will be made by August 9th. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Government and non-profit employees qualify for 25% off tuition. Yale alumni qualify for 15% off tuition.
Discounts cannot be combined.
A full tuition fee refund will be issued if you withdraw from the forum 2 weeks (14 days) before the program start date. After that date, no refund will be issued. However, you may defer your participation until the following year (any fee increase will apply) or send a qualified substitute in your place (separate application is required).
